PRESENTATION

Graphic Designer and Brand Strategist, has been working for over 15 years in the area creating all types of graphic materials for printing, brands and packaging. He has already participated in works in various media such as videos, presentations, applications, interactive CD-ROMs and interface prototypes. He has a solid portfolio of branding and development for small and medium businesses. He was a designer at Grupo Fasano’s Graphic Design studio between 2010 and 2012.

Throughout his career, he expanded his action to Web Design and has been developing institutional websites and portals for at least 10 years, using the WordPress content manager to create them. He was a Web Designer at the Digital Culture Laboratory of the Federal University of Paraná between 2016 and 2017. Enthusiastic about free software, especially WordPress, he co-founded a company specialized in it and has participated in its community as a translator, organizer and speaker of WordCamps since 2012.

 

EDUCATION

2005 – Technical Training in Web Design by Senac – SP.

2004 – 1 year studying History at USP – University of São Paulo.

2003 – Participation in the Incubator Program of the NGO Cidade Escola Aprendiz. The objective of the program was to prepare young people for professional life in a collective way.

From January 2013 to May 2020:

Position: Co-founder, Graphic Designer and Web Designer
Since January 2013 he has led Brasa Design e Tecnologia as Executive Director working in different roles and areas. A communication company focused on WordPress that creates websites, online stores and news portals.

Institution: UFPR – Digital Culture Lab
Position: Web Designer
As a designer at the LAB, he participated in the creation of visual identities for the projects and digital communication strategies. He led the creation of the interface of a free software of participation and digital democracy.

Company: Grupo Fasano
Position: Designer Assistant
Assistant Designer at Grupo Fasano’s Graphic Design Studio. He was part of the team, participating in all graphic projects for external and internal communication and for signage for all the gastronomic and hotel spaces of the group.

From February 2003 to December 2008:
Institution: Pombas Urbanas
Position: Coordinator, Producer and Graphic Artist
He was part of the planning, production, capture and communication teams. He worked in the processes of building the visual identity of the Institute and the photographic and audiovisual documentation of the events and projects. He collaborates in project management, fundraising and in the production of events and shows. He developed some project websites for the institution.

From July to December 2003:

Position: Production Assistant
He was hired by the production company to work on a program for the Futura channel, called Boa Notícia. The program dealt with Third Sector projects, consisting of articles and studio interviews, conducted by journalist Gilberto Dimenstein and former soccer player Raí de Oliveira.

From July to December 2001:
Company: VIATV Communication and Culture
Position: Video Assistant
At the production company, he acted as caboman and cameraman in institutional videos and in a pilot of an Internet Program. He was a production assistant at events and participated in linear and non-linear video editing.

Since October 2007

Institution: WordPress Foundation
He has contributed sporadically with the translation of WP into Brazilian Portuguese since 2007. He participated as a speaker at WordCamp Curitiba 2010 and since then has been a member of the WordPress-BR community, having already represented it at InterConWP 2014, a specialized iMasters conference. She helped organize the second WordCamp Curitiba and the first, second and third WordCamp São Paulo between 2012 and 2014.
